Quotient

Quotient discovers, prioritizes, and resolves the friction that slows down engineering teams. We combine research insights with AI to help leaders understand and improve their developer experience. As AI reshapes engineering, we’re helping engineering teams navigate that shift in a way that keeps humans in the loop—because the future of great software will always be built by people. The idea for Quotient came from my own experience as a software engineer on high-performing teams that still couldn’t meet their lofty goals—even when those goals were to improve medical outcomes for others. We didn’t have tools to understand what areas of our software development process were causing the most friction, or how to resolve them. I founded Quotient to make those dynamics visible and actionable—so every engineering team can work together with the same clarity and precision they bring to their code.

In her words

Technology is changing our world more rapidly than ever before, but so long as we put humans at the center of that change, I believe we will build a better world.

Chapter I

The toughest challenges you've faced as a founder.

One of the most empowering things about being a founder is showing up after every difficult moment because your resolve to solve a problem is that much greater than the difficulties you endure. Sometimes it’s not the big things - like choosing to pivot your entire business and rebuilding a new B2B product from scratch - but the little things, like another investor rejection from someone who doesn’t believe in your vision or believe that you’re technical enough to understand your space. I believe those stories of adversity are important, but I also think more of us should talk about the consequences of showing up better every day - like successfully raising your seed round, signing Fortune 10 enterprise customers, or building a team you believe can achieve anything.

Chapter II

Your vision.

My vision is to build the blueprint for high-performance engineering and keep humans in the center of the software we build for our world. I believe technology is changing our world more rapidly than ever before, but so long as we put humans at the center of that change, I believe we will build a better world. My personal vision is to contribute to a world where anyone (from any background or identity) has the opportunity to reach for their goals without fear of whether they’re the “right fit” for the opportunity.

Chapter III

The impact you want to leave behind — for your industry, your community, and the women who come next.

I hope my work contributes to a world where women have the opportunity and confidence to pursue the work that they believe matters most.
