Founder

Lilypad Health

We test everything nowadays from stool to spit. However, menstrual blood is too gross? Since when? Since I was a young girl, I have experienced the whispers and stares when it came to talking about menstruation and it is time that has changed. There is so much I don't understand about my body and in a world where the government does not want to support your body, you need to take matters into your own hands.

In her words

My vision is a world in which women are not ashamed to menstruate.

Chapter I

The toughest challenges you've faced as a founder.

I think the toughest challenge I have had to face is the stigma against menstruation. I thought that when I started Lilypad Health that I would primarily face push back from those who do not menstruate, but I found myself receiving harsh criticism from women and others that menstruate that menstrual blood was \"too gross\". I want to try and dispel this idea and show that there is power in menstruation!

Chapter II

Your vision.

My vision is a world in which women are not ashamed to menstruate. Where we are able to talk about menstruation freely and feel comfortable with something our body naturally does every month! A world where we do not need to hide tampons up our sleeves on the way to the bathroom.

Chapter III

The impact you want to leave behind — for your industry, your community, and the women who come next.

Everyone feeling comfortable and educated around menstruation. Speaking freely about our bodies without judgement or fear.
