Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer
Metagood
Raised — $10M in seed for Metagood, $26.8M raised in AUM for ACTAI Ventures
In 2018 I saw something that changed how I thought about technology and impact. A project called Honu Kitty, the first CryptoKitty tied to conservation, generated revenue that helped protect a turtle nesting beach from poachers. It showed me that blockchain communities could mobilize capital and people for real world good. Inspired by that idea, I started Metagood and launched OnChainMonkey to explore how NFTs could fund meaningful action. Our community has since supported real world impact, including helping enable the evacuation of Sharbat Gula, the iconic Afghan Girl, from Afghanistan to safety in Italy. We began with art on Bitcoin and are now expanding to tokenize more real world assets.
In her words
“I co-founded Metagood to harness the power of community for positive impact through OnChainMonkey and now by tokenizing real world assets to expand access, transparency, and opportunity for everyone,!RISE”
Chapter I
The toughest challenges you've faced as a founder.
I am the only female founder in my company and one of the few women in crypto who is both a venture capitalist and a startup founder. I am also the only VC and female founder I know who has been bold (maybe crazy?) enough to do both at the same time while raising a young child at home. Despite the challenges of juggling, I founded Metagood and launched OnChainMonkey, helping pioneer art and NFTs on Bitcoin. We have raised $10M and our most recent equity conversion round delivered an 8x return for our earliest investors. Our work was recognized by Fast Company as one of the 20 Best World Changing Ideas in impact investing. My superpower has always been community building. I listen closely to our community and connect people to a bigger mission that combines technical innovation with positive world impact. That approach has helped us build a passionate global community that has generated millions in trading volume and supported real world action, including helping enable the evacuation of Sharbat Gula, the iconic Afghan Girl, from Afghanistan to safety in Italy and funded coral reef restoration globally.
Chapter II
Your vision.
I am obsessed with unlocking liquidity and access to assets that have historically been locked away, opaque, or available only to a small group of insiders. Most real world assets cannot move freely. They are difficult to trade, difficult to access globally, and burdened by outdated financial infrastructure. Blockchain changes that. Just as we started by putting art on Bitcoin, we believe many other assets should live on chain and be freely tradable. Tokenization can make ownership more transparent, programmable, and accessible to people around the world. At Metagood, we are building the infrastructure and community to help make that possible. We are exploring how art, collectibles, and other real world assets can be brought on chain in ways that are secure, culturally meaningful, and aligned with positive impact. Our vision is a future where ownership is more open, markets are more liquid, and communities can participate in assets and opportunities that were previously out of reach.
Chapter III
The impact you want to leave behind — for your industry, your community, and the women who come next.
Thirty years from now, I hope my legacy is helping prove that blockchain can be a force for transparency, access, and positive impact. At Metagood, we helped pioneer putting art on Bitcoin and advancing the idea that real world assets should live on chain. As an investor at ACTAI Ventures, we back builders in AI, blockchain, longevity, and sustainable energy. Over 55% of our capital has gone to companies with women in the C-suite, not as a mandate but by backing the best founders whose signal is often overlooked. Ultimately, I want to help expand who gets to build, who gets funded, and leave a better world for my daughter through technology.
